The Family was the obstacle and the motive

Being born and raised in Egypt has its own demands and challenges. People evaluate you for what degree you have and what position you reached without knowing you personally or testing your skills at all. For that reason, like all good parents, my parents decided what I should study and what degree I should pursue; that's how I became a pharmacist. That also came with its challenges; to open my own pharmacy or work at a big pharmaceutical company, which I did, but I didn't see myself in all that, so I decided to start my family elsewhere where I could be myself and give my family what they deserve; that's why I came to the United States. As an immigrant, your way is usually bumpy; I had to leave my degree behind and start from scratch. I started in the food business to earn my living; I adopted a whole new lifestyle and duties to be able to get through my first phase. I got married after four years, and that was when we went through a whole new evaluation of our life and what we needed to do. I decided to flip the first page and start a new journey with the post office. Only a few months after, we had our first son. A new person who only had his mom and me, but I didn't have the luxury to spend much time with him because I wasn't a regular employee, and that is why I should cover everyone else and be away from my house for 12-14 hours daily only to provide the basics for my family.

Then…. You guessed it; it was time to start over again.

But that time was different. I started to think of what I could and love to do that would provide my family and me with a good lifestyle, flexibility, and money, and at the same time, I meet new people, feel and see my success and be able to grow and develop on my own pace. That's how I started my journey, again from scratch, as a stock trader and later mentor.
